LEAD PASTOR

Brian Teed

Pastor Brian has been serving here at HFMC and in the community of Hastings for the last 21 years. He graduated from Spring Arbor College with a degree in Psychology and went on to get his Master's in Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Brian, along with his wife Heather have two children, Allison and Jonah. Outside of church you are likely to see them running around town, attending their children's sporting events, volunteering at the local public school, and coaching track and field.

Worship Director

Martha Stoetzel

Martha Stoetzel has been the Worship Director and lead keyboardist for the past 5 years, but has served on the worship team since 2008. Martha graduated from Michigan State University with a major in psychology and a minor in music.

Martha has been married to Marcel for 34 years and they have two grown children along with their spouses. They also have two grandchildren. When Martha is not at the church, she most likely is sitting beside her baby grand piano (with a cup of tea or coffee) teaching piano lessons or playing with her grandchildren.

Pastor of Student Ministries

Emma Miller

Emma Miller is the Assistant Pastor at HFMC. This is her first position in ministry and she enjoys being able to share God’s love with the children and youth in her hometown. Emma is married to Adam, and they have two children, Oakland and Abel. In their free time they can most likely be found at the gym. Emma has recently taken up the sport of Brazilian jiu jitsu.
